StopHarbor

Home / Use cases

From a spreadsheet of addresses to ordered routes.

Your stops already live in a spreadsheet, a CRM export or an order system. StopHarbor reads them as they are, with no retyping and no reformatting into a special template.

Bring the file you already have

Upload a CSV from Excel, Google Sheets or your CRM, or copy rows straight from the spreadsheet and paste them. StopHarbor recognizes common column names such as Name, Address, Street, City, State, ZIP, Notes, Minutes, Window start, Window end, Priority and Worker. You can change any mapping before importing.

Split address columns are fine

If street, city, state and ZIP are in separate columns, StopHarbor joins them. ZIP codes that lost their leading zero in Excel, like 2134 for 02134, are repaired. Rows without a usable street address and ZIP are skipped and listed so you can fix the source.

Assign workers in the sheet

Add a Worker column with names that match your plan's workers and those stops are pinned to them. Leave it empty and StopHarbor assigns stops by distance.

Export back out

Export the routed day as CSV: worker, order, stop, address, arrival time, departure time, window, minutes on site, miles from the previous stop, priority and status. Cells are written so spreadsheets never treat an address or note as a formula.

Clean data saves the most time

Most routing problems trace back to the source list: a missing ZIP, a typo in the street number, or two rows for the same customer. Keep one row per stop with a complete address. If a stop lands far away on the map, fix the spreadsheet as well as the plan so tomorrow's import is right. Addresses StopHarbor has already located for your workspace are remembered, so repeat imports calculate faster.
