Mowing routes that keep each crew in one part of town.

Lawn care lives on route density. Every extra crossing between neighborhoods is fuel and a mowing slot you cannot sell. StopHarbor groups each crew's properties together and orders them for the least time behind the wheel.

Build the week from your customer list

Most lawn companies already keep customers in a spreadsheet or their billing tool. Export it to CSV, import it, and StopHarbor maps your columns, including name, address, notes, minutes on site and the crew. Save Monday's plan, then duplicate it the next week; stops, crews and settings carry over, and visit status resets.

Balance crews by time, not just property count

Ten small front yards and ten one-acre lots are not the same day. Give larger properties more minutes on site and StopHarbor's arrival estimates show when each crew will really finish. Cap a crew at a number of stops when a smaller trailer or a short-handed crew cannot take a full day.

Start from the shop or from home

  • Save the shop or yard as a location and every new plan starts there by default.
  • Crews that take a truck home can start and finish at their own address.
  • Choose Easiest driving when pulling trailers: fewer turns and more main roads.

On the truck

The crew lead opens a private link on their phone: properties in order, gate notes, arrival estimates and navigation for the whole route. Mark a property done or skipped, even with weak signal, and the update syncs when the phone reconnects. Prefer paper? Print a route sheet with a map and a check box for every stop.

Seasonal work

Aeration, leaf cleanup and irrigation start-ups arrive as bursts of one-time stops. Import the batch, split it across available crews by percentage, and keep the regular mowing routes untouched in their own saved plans.

Questions

Can I reuse the same route every week?

Yes. Duplicate a saved plan to copy its stops, crews and settings for another day. Visit status resets, and you optimize again only if the list changed.

Will it avoid sending trucks with trailers through tight streets?

Choose Easiest driving to favor main roads and fewer maneuvers. StopHarbor does not model truck-specific restrictions such as weight limits, so crews should still use judgment.

What does it cost for three crews?

Team covers up to ten route workers for $59 a month with three signed-in seats for office staff. Crew members open their routes from links and do not need an account.
