Pest control routes your technicians can run without calling the office.

Quarterly accounts, callbacks and new inspections all land on the same day. StopHarbor turns that mixed list into one ordered route per technician, with the gate codes and pet warnings attached to the right stop.

The pest control scheduling problem

A typical pest control day mixes three kinds of work: recurring general-pest services that can happen any time that week, callbacks a customer is waiting on, and inspections booked into a window. Building the day by hand in a spreadsheet and Google Maps means re-sorting the list every time a callback comes in, and it usually leaves one technician crossing town twice.

How a pest control office uses StopHarbor

  • Import the day's accounts from your CRM export or spreadsheet. Name, address, notes and time windows map from your own column headings.
  • Give a technician's territory their ZIP codes, or let StopHarbor share the stops out evenly by distance.
  • Put an arrival window on callbacks and inspections. Recurring services stay flexible and fill around them.
  • Set minutes on site per stop. A termite inspection and a quarterly exterior spray do not take the same time, and arrival estimates reflect that.
  • Send each technician a private link with their stops in order, notes, arrival times and one-tap navigation.

Notes that belong with the stop

Gate codes, a dog in the back yard, "treat the garage only" and where to leave the service ticket all stay attached to the stop and print on the route sheet. They are not lost in a group text. Technicians can add their own note from the field, like "customer asked about mosquito service", and the office sees it on the plan.

When a technician calls in sick

Remove the worker, optimize again, and the remaining technicians get the work split across them, still respecting windows and anyone's stop limit. Duplicate yesterday's plan for a recurring route instead of rebuilding it.

What it does not do

StopHarbor is a route planner, not a full pest control CRM. It does not do invoicing, chemical-use logs or customer billing. Many small companies keep their CRM for those jobs and use StopHarbor for the daily routing their CRM does poorly. Drive times use typical traffic, not live conditions.

Questions

Can I keep each technician in their own territory?

Yes. Use Divide stops by ZIP code and give each ZIP to a technician. ZIPs left on Auto are shared out by distance, and you can set a ZIP to None to leave it off today's routes.

Does it handle appointment windows for inspections?

Yes. Give a stop an arrive-after time, an arrive-before time, or both. The route is planned to reach it inside the window, and any stop that cannot fit anyone's day is listed with the reason instead of failing the whole plan.

How many technicians can I route?

Solo is $19 a month for one worker and up to 40 stops per calculation. Team is $59 a month for up to ten route workers, three signed-in seats and 80 stops total per calculation. Every workspace starts with a 14-day trial with 300 stop computations in total; each optimization counts the stops it processes.
