Pickups in their arrival windows, and fewer empty miles between them.

Junk removal crews sell two-hour arrival windows and get paid by the load. StopHarbor orders each truck's pickups so windows are met and the drive between jobs stays short.

Why hauling days fall apart

Customers book a window online, then the day fills with a garage cleanout, a single mattress, a hot tub demolition and an estimate visit. Job length varies from fifteen minutes to half a day, and a truck that fills up has to unload before the next pickup. Dispatching by booking order instead of by location burns the window margin by noon.

Setting up a hauling day

  • Import bookings with the arrival window in Arrive after and Arrive before columns, for example 08:00 and 10:00.
  • Estimate minutes on site from the item list: a mattress is quick, a full basement is not.
  • Add the transfer station or landfill as a stop with a realistic unload time where you know a truck will be full, and put it on that truck.
  • Give the second truck its own start address if it parks at a different yard.

Same-day calls

When a same-day pickup comes in, add it, mark it High priority if you promised it, and recalculate. StopHarbor reshuffles the remaining stops between trucks while keeping booked windows. Anything that no longer fits shows up as not routed with the reason, so you can call that customer early instead of arriving late.

What it does not track

StopHarbor does not track truck volume, weigh tickets or dump fees, and it does not decide on its own when a truck must unload. You add the dump run where your crew knows it is needed. Drive times use typical traffic for the hour, not live conditions.

Questions

Can customers' booked windows be honored?

Yes. Each booking's window is a constraint on the route. A booking that cannot fit any truck's day is listed separately, not silently dropped.

Can I plan the dump run?

Add the transfer station as a stop on the truck that needs it, with unload minutes. StopHarbor places it in the best spot in that truck's order.

How much is it for two or three trucks?

Solo is $19 a month for one worker and up to 40 stops per calculation. Team is $59 a month for up to ten route workers, three signed-in seats and 80 stops in total per calculation. The 14-day trial includes 300 stop computations.
