Pump truck routes that cover more units on the same tank of fuel.
Portable toilet rounds repeat every week and septic jobs spread across rural roads. StopHarbor orders each pump truck's route and keeps site access notes with each unit.
Weekly unit rounds
A portable sanitation company services construction sites, events and farms on a weekly cycle, often dozens of units per truck per day. The same sites repeat, but new rentals start and old ones end every week. Rebuilding the round by hand each Monday is slow; leaving it unchanged sends a truck to sites that were picked up last Friday.
Building the round
- Keep each truck's weekly round as a saved plan and duplicate it each week, then add new rentals and delete pickups.
- Treat a construction site with several units as one stop with longer minutes on site.
- Put the disposal site on the route as a stop when a truck will need to empty its tank mid-day.
- Choose Easiest driving for vacuum trucks and Fewest miles for long rural septic days.
Site access
Gate codes, "units behind trailer 3", "call foreman on arrival" and "soft ground, do not drive on lawn" stay with the stop. Drivers can mark a unit serviced or skipped with a note like "site locked" so the office can call the customer the same day.
Limits
StopHarbor does not track tank level, gallons pumped or manifests, and does not decide when to empty. Your driver knows the tank; add the disposal stop where it belongs. Drive times use typical traffic.
Questions
Do I rebuild the route every week?
No. Duplicate last week's plan, adjust the rentals that changed and recalculate.
Can I put the disposal site mid-route?
Yes. Add it as a stop on that truck with realistic unload minutes; StopHarbor places it in the truck's order.
How many sites per plan?
Solo is $19 a month for one worker and up to 40 stops per calculation. Team is $59 a month for up to ten route workers, three signed-in seats and 80 stops in total per calculation. The 14-day trial includes 300 stop computations.
